Information on Lac Des Mille Lacs
Lac Des Mille Lacs, the lake of 1,000 lakes, is one of the most popular and best fishing waters in Northwestern Ontario. Within 70 miles of Thunder Bay, it abounds with pickerel, pike, perch and bass. Here anglers both novice and expert alike can get all the action they could ask for! Classed as a shallow lake (average depth is about 20') Lac des Mille Lacs has one of the best productive rates for any lake in Canada. While most fish caught average 1 1/2 to 3 pounds, giant Northern Pike in the 20 pound class and Lunker Pickerel from 6 to 10 pounds are not rare. Almost any stretch of water along shorelines or islands will produce fish.
Information on Cabin Rentals:
Our housekeeping cottages will sleep from four to eight people comfortably. They include a three piece bath, hot and cold running water, propane fridge and stove, oil heat and electric lights. Towels and bedding are not provided. Play on the beautiful sandy beach or just lie in the sun when you want to take a break from fishing.

Pricing for cabin rentals starts at:
Per person per day:
$69.00 – 1-5 days
$65.00 – 6 days plus
- A deposit of $100.00 per person is required for each housekeeping unit.
- There is a three day minimum on all rentals.
- All rates quoted in Canadian funds plus tax.
- Minimum charge on cabins 2,4,5:
$190.00 per day
- Minimum charge on cabins 3 or 6:
$220.00 per day
- Family Rate ( Immediate family only – i.e. grandparents, parents and children) starting July 15 – Aug 15- Cabin 2,4,5:
$150.00 per day
- Cabins 3 or 6:
$175.00 per day
Due to the inconvenience of trying to fill vacancies on short notice, there will be no refund on your deposit.

- No TVs in the cabins for the perfect outdoor rustic experience.
- It is important to call first to ensure access in the winter or summer.
- We are a remote location with no hydro.
- Solar and small generators at the cabins.
- Flush toilets, hot and cold running water and showers.
